Hindley Participating in Hour of Code

Dear Hindley Parents,

I am pleased to inform you that Hindley School will be celebrating Computer Science Education Week – “Hour of Code” during the week of December 7 – 11, 2015. Hour of Code is a global movement with more than 100 million learners in 180 countries joining and all Darien public schools will be participating this year.

A one hour activity to spark an interest in computer science and logical thinking will take place during the week of December 7 – 11, 2015 and will include all of our students from Kindergarten through 5th grade.   We will establish “buddy” classes which will work together for one hour of coding activities throughout the week.

We are very excited to be providing every child at Hindley School the opportunity to be introduced to computer science in an engaging a fun manner.

Warm regards,
